Animal Control

Chapter 55 in the Code of Ordinances provides for Animal Protection and Control, including, but not limited to Animal Neglect, Abandonment of cats and dogs, Dogs in Parks, Dangerous Domestic Animals, Owner's Duties, and Animals at large: Impoundment.  A copy of this ordinance may be obtained on the Code of Ordinaces page.  Please call us at City Hall (319) 448-4359 immediately if you see animals running loose.
